This month I received the February Ipsy Glambag in the mail and was actually quite pleased with its contents. I retook my quiz to favor more of the products that I had been using more often lately, so I could hopefully try out different options. I felt that I would actually use the products in this months bag more than the other products I have received in the past few glam bags.
The first product that I was actually pretty stoked to try was the Theorie Argan Oil Ultimate Reform Hair Serum. My hair is unbelievably damnaged from when I killed it all with bleach more a few years to have fun colored hair. So receiving a nice hair serum was just what my sad dry hair needed. It is great to use pre or post styling and really smooths out your hair. Just make sure not to use to much or you’ll look like a slick blob of oil real quick.
Next up is the Tre’StiQue baby blush stick in bora bora coral. The packaging is cute, but don’t mistake it for the product itself, make sure to uncap prior to application. This is similar to a cream blush formula in stick form. When applying to the face, you can either blend the product out with your fingers or even a brush to get the look you want. You can also use this product as a blush base for a more intense and pigmented look.
The next product is actually one that I have been wanting to get my hands on which is the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye concealer. I have been having a serious dark circle issue as of late, may it be lack of sleep, or stress, it’s a problem. So a new concealer was like a beacon of hope, I have heard so may rad things about this particular brand and product that I am really pumped to get to try it out.
I rarely use lip glosses, since I have been obsessed with the matte lip trend as well as its staying power with lack of having to reapply as often. So this product may not get a bunch of use but it is the ModelCo Lip Lacquer lip gloss in morocco. The shade seems pretty and I would use it to pair with a bold eye to even out the face. More updates on this product if I get around to using it.
Last but not least is a Ciate London Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Paint pot. Which is a beautiful red nail polish. I haven’t been painting my nails as of late, but when I do they are either red, black or some type of holographic/shimmery color. So when I do get around to using this polish, I will be sure to post pictures and a mini review. It seems like a promising nail color.
