Blazer: H&M and ducktape DIY

Shirt: Thrifted

Boots: Doc Marten’s

Though I know I should be wary, still I venture someplace scary, ghostly hauntings I turn loose: BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE! It’s showtime! Today for Spooktober I’m bringing you a cult classic, Beetlejuice! So let me go ahead and make your millennium!

To start the transformation into the ghost with the most, I paired my Black Milk clothing “Beetlejuice” leggings with an off white button up and a blazer, that I used white ducktape to create the stripes in the most accurate directions I could to match the jacket Beetlejuice wears in the film! Then onto the makeup, I started by darkening up my eye sockets with a dark purple and black mix , and then followed that up with whitening up my face with a matte cream eyeshadow every where else. Once I was pale, I started carving out my sunken in cheek bones with a purple, green and grey mix of eyeshadows. Added some extra mossy details with multiple green eyeshadows and then moved onto my hair. I teased my hair pretty heavily and added some hair spray and dry shampoo for extra volume. And I am ready to cause some trouble!

Are you going for that ghostly look this halloween? Show me your photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by tagging @styleastronaut and #saspooktober #spooktober2k15
