Curiouser and curiouser, this collaboration palette between Urban Decay and Disney is a lovely collection of 20 all new shades. Each of the 5 column is a trippy tribute to 5 characters from the film. The characters are Alice, Mad Hatter, Mirana, Iacebeth and Time. You can use each column to create a look reminiscent of the character in question, or mix and match shades to make a look all your own.

Alice’s column consists of the shades: [L-R]

Looking Glass: a pale pink demi-matte

Reflection: a soft peachy matte,  good transition shade

Dormouse: a warm brown with gold micro-sparkle, a nice crease shade

Metamorphosis: a vibrant periwinkle shade with blue micro-sparkles

Mad Hatter’s Column consists of the shades: [L-R]

Hatter: a vibrant green with tonal micro-sparkle

Gone Made: aubergine with gold pearl

Paradox: a vibrant orange with gold pearl

Cake: saturated blue-pink with silver micro-shimmer

Mirana’s column consists of the shades: [L-R]

Lily: Opal pink pearl

Duchess: peach with pink shift and micro-sparkle

Kingdom: copper-bronze pearl

Chessboard: medium brown matte

Iracebeth’s column consists of the shades:[T-B]

Heads Will Roll: Vibrant turquoise with gold micro-sparkle

Bandersnatch: deep teal matte

Salazen Grum: metallic crimson

Royal Flush: pale beige shimmer

Time’s column consists of the shades: [T-B]

Time: black-navy satin with soft iridescent micro-sparkle

Dream On: metallic purple-silver

Chronosphere: metallic deep bronze

Mirror: gray-taupe satin

The packaging is a kaleidoscope eye catcher, with butterflies and roses. A mirror graphic smack dab in the middle on the front. When you open it up you have a mirror in the center of the top that reads “We are all mad here” on a background of melting clocks that are Salvador Dali reminiscent. Another fold out that reads “I’m not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours.”. That fold out reveals more beautiful kaleidoscope roses and a 3-D butterfly that even flutters as the tabs move. The center fold out has a magnetic closure to keep that butterfly safe from harm. The eyeshadows are hidden in a pull out drawer that keeps your shadows from harm and any other traitorous bandersnatches that may be about.  This palette also comes with a double ended eyeshadow brush, one side for packing on color and the other for blending them out.

So far I am a big fan of Looking glass, Lily, Dream on, Bandersnatch, Heads will roll, Mirror, Paradox, Royal Flush, Salazen Grum and Time. I can’t wait to create some fun and festive looks with this palette! I rolled into Ulta yesterday to get my hands on it. The Urban Decay and Sephora release isn’t until May, but ulta already has it in select stores and on their site! Check online to find the nearest stocked store near you,

This is not a sponsored post. I bought this product with my own money and my extreme obsession with Alice in Wonderland/Alice through the Looking Glass. I hope you enjoyed seeing these colors swatched out and I will be posting some looks soon enough with this wonderful palette over on my Instagram. @styleastronaut
