The show itself was well executed, 3 rounds on 2 levels, with multiple podium stops along the lobby level. Each piece was well represented to the audience and you could really get up close and see the details with the way the models were directed around the lobby floor. Each podium was well lit by spotlights and flashes throughout the night. Overall the show was very well organized and had a great flow to it, you had just enough time to get a cocktail from the bar between rounds without missing a beat. The groove keep going throughout the night with tunes by DJ Leah V, who was killing it!
I had the pleasure of attending Fashionably Late at the Liberty hotel in Boston, a free weekly show on Thursday nights from 10-11pm, curated by Nicole Gagnon. Each week she brings to life a fashion show in the beautiful Liberty Hotel lobby, complete with lights, sound provided by DJ Leah V, and ambiance to boot. Last nights show was a showcase of Nathalia JMag’s Laced up and strapped in collection.
Nathalia JMag’s line was full of textures, neutrals, pale pinks, mustard and even dark tones, with a great flow to her line the show was seamless. There was just enough flow and edge to her pieces and each Look was paired with a killer pair of shoes! The styling for the models was proper and fit so well with the line overall. Each model decked out with their own unique hair style to compliment their chosen looks, made for fierce stomping around the runways. And what more could you ask for from a girl who has been on Project Runway! [Keep an eye out for a feature on her and her line soon enough!]
I had such a great time and met some amazing people last night! I’m excited to experience more shows with Fashionably Late at The Liberty Hotel every Thursday from 10-11pm.
